Front Royal police investigate Kmart break-in

Front Royal police are looking for a suspect in a break-in that occurred at 1:15 a.m. Wednesday at the Kmart in the Royal Plaza Shopping Center.
Police responded to an alarm call and discovered the front door had been vandalized. They iissued the following press release Wednesday:
"On arrival, units found the front door had been vandalized. Closer investigation revealed that several jewelry display cases had been broken and the contents scattered. Criminal Investigations was called to the scene to further investigate."The suspect is described as a male (unknown race), medium build, wearing a white hat, blue jeans and possibly a flannel or similar style jacket. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Kevin Nicewarner with the Criminal Investigations Division at 540-636-2208."
