Winter weather advisory calls for 2 to 4 inches of snow; Shenandoah, Page schools close early today

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory that begins at 11 a.m. on this President's Day and ends at 3 a.m. Tuesday.

Snow is expected to start falling between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., with accumulations of between 2 and 4 inches. The heaviest snowfall is expected to fall late this afternoon to early this evening.

Shenandoah County Public Schools will close at 2:30 p.m. today. Page County Public Schools will dismiss at 2 p.m. today.

Frederick and Warren county public schools and Shenandoah Valley Chrisitian Academy are closed today.
