'Where is the money?' robber screams at Winchester resident

Winchester police are investigating an armed robbery at a residence in the 300 block of Chestnut St., on Thursday.

The resident said he came home at around 6 p.m. Thursday and found his front door had been forced open. He told police that he went upstairs and found three men there.

According to a press release issued today by police:

"The victim said he went upstairs and discovered three (3) black males wearing ski masks and gloves rummaging through some personal belongings. The victim told officers when one of the suspects saw him, they screamed at him "Where is the money?".

"The victim told officers he was then pushed onto a couch in the room and was held against his will. The suspects removed his wallet containing an undisclosed amount in cash and a cell phone from his pocket. All three suspects left the residence in an unknown direction of travel. The victim was not injured during the incident.

"The suspects were described as black males wearing ski masks and gloves and blue jeans. Two of the suspects were wearing red jackets with various designs and patches on them. The third suspect was wearing a white jacket. No other descriptions were given."
