Front Royal police will be at the Royal Plaza Shopping Center from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday for a child safety seat check.
"Every year, too many children are injured or killed by not being in a child safety seat. We want to stress the importance of having your 'precious cargo' fastened securely in a child safety seat that has been installed properly" Police Chief Richard H. Furr said in a press release issued today.
A certified child safety seat technician will be available during the event to inspect seats for proper installation and correct usage.
Police, and members of the Warren County Sheriff's Office and Warren County Fire and Rescue will be available to help with installation of child seats.
