Here's the release:
TRAFFIC LIGHT IMPROVEMENT
The Town of Front Royal Department of Environmental Services and Department of Energy Resources are pleased to announce that the South Royal Avenue and Jackson Street signal improvements have been completed. This signal is now equipped with LED signal heads and is camera actuated to improve traffic flow.
The improvements at Royal Avenue and Main Street will require approximately two more weeks to complete.
During this time, motorists may occur some traffic signal overlap, as the signals are not yet synchronized. Motorists are requested to not block the intersections during red lights.
Upon completion, both intersections will be synchronized to reduce congestion and improve traffic flow.
