Two arrested on drug charges

Winchester police have arrested two people on drug-related charges following the execution of a search warrant at a city residence on Thursday afternoon.
The following press release issued by police today provides details:
On Thursday June 17, 2010 at approximately 4:00 p.m. Winchester Police Department's Community Response Team (CRT) served a search warrant at 1012 Woodland Avenue.This was the result of an earlier three (3) to (4) week investigation that included reports of illegal drug activity, code violations, and overcrowding. CRT members recovered numerous items associated with illegal drugs including paraphernalia and prescription medications of unknown value.
Arrested were Anthony Scott Monda, 20, of Winchester and Chelsey Dawn Bradfield, 20, of Romney, West Virginia. Monda was charged with a probation violation and Bradfield was charged with possession of marijuana. Several other people were identified including juveniles and additional charges are pending against all who were identified.
