Stolen C-CAP van located in Ohio

Winchester police have learned that the 1996 Dodge van that was reported stolen from C-CAP (Congregational Community Action Program) on July 2 was found today in Lorain, Ohio.

Police released the following press release today:

MEDIA RELEASE July 13, 2010
Winchester Police Department received information from the Lorain Police Department located in Lorain, Ohio in reference to a 1996 Dodge van that was reported stolen from CCAP on 7/2/10. The Lorain Police department located the van parked unoccupied on a residential street in Lorain, Ohio at approximately 0938 a.m. The van was towed to a local garage.

During the course of this investigation Winchester Police have identified Jared Vandertoorn, 21 of Winchester, as the suspect. A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Vandertoorn for grand larceny. Vandertoorn is originally from Lorain and is still possibly in that area.
