Readers submit photos of area fires

Reader Rachel Wolf e-mailed the Daily a photo from Greenway Vista in the White Post area this afternoon.

"I was driving by with my family and we called in the fire. We stopped and I took some photos with my cell phone," Wolf said in her e-mail.

Sean Page snapped a photo of a huge brush fire on Skyline Drive. He captured the image about three miles outside of Front Royal.

Scott Bauserman photographed the Linden fire from the Starbucks parking lot in Front Royal.

Jason Miller of Weekend Oasis in Hume took a photo of a blaze in the distance.

Mary Beth Simmons sent in a cell phone picture of a fire she saw from Pleasant View Road in Mt. Jackson.

Katie Clem shot a photo of the Skyline Drive fire from Browntown.

Mark Patton lives at the northern tip of Massanutten Mountain. He could see the Skyline Drive fire from there.
