Expect lane closures along Route 522, Oranda Road on Monday

The Virginia Department of Transportation reports that slope repairs will be made along Route 522 in Warren County near Route 604 south of Front Royal beginning Monday.

The repair work, which will last about two weeks, will prompt single lane closures between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Fridays, weather permitting.

A flagger will control traffic during repair work.

Oranda Road ditch repairs

Ditch repairs will be made in Shenandoah County along Oranda Road, where the sinkhole was filled in, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday.

Travel will be reduced to a single lane. A flagger will control traffic during this work.
