On the roads: Nov. 5-9

The Virginia Department of Transportation reports the following roadwork the week of Nov. 5-9:

Shenandoah County
Interstate 81

* Mile marker 263.9 to 298, northbound and southbound: debris removal, ditch cleaning and sign work. Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
 
Primary Roads
No lane closures reported.
 
Secondary Roads
* Various roads: tree trimming. Flagger traffic control during daylight hours, Monday to Friday.
 
Frederick County
Interstate 81

* Mile marker 300 to 324, northbound and southbound: debris removal and sign work. Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
* Mile marker 306.53 to 303.73, southbound: paving. Alternating lane closures, Sunday night to Thursday morning, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Estimated completion is Dec. 1.
* Mile marker 313 to 315, northbound and southbound: in conjunction with the Route 657/Senseny Road Bridge deck replacement work. Shoulder closures and intermittent nighttime lane closures beginning Feb. 20 for installation of barrier for shoulder closures. Estimated completion is mid November.
* Mile marker 313.31 to 310.12, southbound: guardrail work. Alternating lane closures, Sunday night to Thursday morning, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Estimated completion Dec. 1.
 
Primary Roads

* Route 11, northbound and southbound: relocation of utilities and installation of southbound right turn lane from the Route 37 southbound off-ramp to Route 1090. Flagger traffic control, Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Northbound and southbound lane shifts for paving operations. Flagger traffic control. Work is from Aug. 23 to Nov. 9. * Various roads: mowing.
 
Secondary Roads
* Route 657 (Senseny Road, Winchester): deck replacement work on bridge over I-81 from Millwood Pike (Route 522/50/17) and Berryville Pike (Route 7). Intermittent single-lane traffic controlled by flaggers. Estimated completion is mid November.
* Various roads: utility tree trimming. Flagger traffic control during daylight hours, Monday to Friday.
* Various roads: pipe cleaning and debris removal.
 
Clarke County
Primary Roads

* Route 7 Business (West Main Street): Mosby Boulevard Project. Construction of Route 636/Mosby Boulevard extension. Work is Monday to Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Estimated completion is May 2013.
* Route 255: Utility tree trimming. Flagger traffic control during daylight hours, Monday to Friday.
 
Secondary Roads
* Route 622 (Swift Shoals Road): bridge replacement at the intersection of Route 624 (Red Gate Road). Road closed beginning Oct. 22. Detour posted:
eastbound traffic will use Route 624 (Red Gate Road) North to Route 50 (John Mosby Hwy) East to Route 625 (Kennel Road) south to Route 622 (Swift Shoals Road).
Westbound traffic will use Route 625 (Kennel Road) North to Route 50 (John Mosby Hwy) West to Route 624 (Red Gate Road) south to Route 622 (Swift Shoals Road).
Estimated completion is November.
* Various roads: utility tree trimming. Flagger traffic control during daylight hours, Monday to Friday.
 
Warren County
Interstate 66

* Mile marker 0 to 13, eastbound and westboun: debris removal, ditch cleaning and sign work. Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
 
Interstate 81
* Mile marker 300 to 324, northbound and southbound: debris removal, Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
 
Primary Roads

Secondary Roads
