VDOT closing Scheffer Gap Road on Monday

The Virginia Department of Transportation will close Scheffer Gap Road (Route 604) at a quarter of a mile west of Alonzaville Road in Shenandoah County on Monday. VDOT workers will be replacing a pipe.

The road will reopen on Tuesday, weather permitting, according to a VDOT release.
