Winter storm warning goes into effect at 6 p.m. today

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for our region from 6 p.m. today through midnight Wednesday.
The forecast calls for 10 to 15 inches of snow. Rain will mix with snow this afternoon and will change to snow by early this evening. Snow will continue through Wednesday and end by Wednesday evening.
The weather service expects temperatures to be in the upper 20s tonight and lower 30s on Wednesday. Winds will be northeast 15-25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.
