Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office police blotter, July 29-Aug. 4


The Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office reports the following:

July 29: Rosie Lee Gray of Martinsburg, W.Va., was charged with felony bad check. Gray is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on Oct. 1.

July 29: Authorities are investigating the larceny of a license plate from a vehicle on John Marshall Highway, Lebanon Church.

July 29: Authorities are investigating the breaking and entering of a garage at a residence on Lodge Hall Road, Mount Jackson, and the larceny of a part from a vehicle.

July 30: Anthony Joseph Fala of Blacksburg was charged with possession of marijuana and trespassing on church property. Shirice Rochelle Blowe of Winchester also was charged with possession of marijuana.

July 30: Authorities are investigating the hit and run of a mailbox and damage to a driveway at a residence on Saumsville Road, Maurertown.

July 30: Authorities are investigating the breaking and entering and larceny of a laptop computer from a residence on Senedo Road, Edinburg.

July 31: Kristian C Sawyer of Edinburg was charged with two counts of animal cruelty. Sawyer is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on Aug. 23.

July 31: Thomas Stephen Spiggle of Toms Brook was charged with appearing drunk in public. Spiggle is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on Aug. 23.

July 31: Catherine Susan Judy of New Market was charged with six felony counts of forgery, six felony counts of uttering, one felony count of obtaining money by false pretense and five misdemeanor counts of obtaining money by false pretense.

Aug. 1: Joshua Rawls Jennette of Edinburg was charged with possession of marijuana. Jennette is schedule to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on Aug. 23.

Aug. 1: Grant L. Sager of Wardensville, W.Va., was charged with soliciting without a permit. Kelly Sue Hutchinson of Winchester also was charged with soliciting without a permit. Sager and Huchinson are scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on Aug. 23.

Aug. 2: Adam Tyler Milgrim of Mount Jackson was charged with felony malicious wounding. Milgrim is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on Aug. 23.

Aug. 3: Kelly Brian Vance of Strasburg was charged with driving while intoxicated, a second offense, and refusal of blood or breath test. Vance is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on Aug. 23.

Aug. 4: Authorities are investigating the breaking and entering, destruction of property and larceny of several old coins, other U.S. currency and prescrption medication from a residence on Wakemans Grove Road, Edinburg.

Aug. 4: Authorities are investigating the larceny of debit cards and an iPod from a vehicle parked off of Liberty Furnace Road, Edinburg.

Aug. 4: Shane William Evy of Quicksburg was charged with two counts of assault and battery of a family member. Evy is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court on Sept. 5.
