Front Royal authorities seize $3,150 worth of heroin and cocaine

Daily Staff Report

Authorities seized about 35 bags of heroin, a half-ounce of crack cocaine, a quarter-ounce of powder cocaine, digital scales and U.S. currency totaling $910 in a drug arrest at the Center City Motel in Front Royal on Friday, according to a release sent by Front Royal Police Chief Norman Shiflett.

In the release, Shiflett stated the street value of the drugs seized was about $3,150.

The Northwest Virginia Regional Drug Task Force and the Front Royal Emergency Services Team executed a search warrant of room 126 at the motel on allegations of heroin distribution being conducted out of the room by guest Rickie Hall.

Hall, 49, was arrested on charges of possession with intent to distribute heroin and cocaine and is being held at the Warren County Jail with no bond, the release states.
