Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office police blotter, Sept. 15 - 22

The Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office reports the following:

Sept. 15: Authorities are investigating the destruction of property of a vehicle on Woodpark Lane, Woodstock.

Sept. 16: Christopher Franklin Carpenter of Woodstock was charged with appearing drunk in public. Carpenter is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on Oct. 11.

Sept. 16: Authorities are investigating the larceny of U.S. currency and a check from vehicles at a residence on Fravel Road, Woodstock.

Sept. 17: Shannon Marie Murphy of Mount Jackson was charged with assault and battery of a family member. Murphy is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court on Sept. 26.

Sept. 18: Authorities are investigating the larceny of two license plates from a vehicle parked on Old Valley Pike, New Market.

Sept. 19: Gemayel Lane Farmer of Winchester was charged with possession of marijuana. Farmer is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on Oct. 25.

Sept. 19: Robert Elwood Bowley of Star Tannery was charged with felony malicious wounding. Bowley is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on Oct. 25.

Sept. 19: Jospeh Camp Singer of Strasburg was charged with obtaining electric service without payment. Singer is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on Oct. 25.

Sept. 19: A 15-year-old juvenile female from Woodstock was charged with felony sale of drugs on school property and felony possession of a controlled substance. Authorities also charged a 16-year-old juvenile male from Maurertown with felony sale of drugs on school property and possession of marijuana. Both subjects are scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court on Oct. 3.

Sept. 20: Authorities are investigating the destruction of property of a vehicle on Barn Owl Lane, Strasburg.

Sept. 20: Authorities are investigating the breaking and entering and larceny of a firearm, firearm accessories, video games, copper, U.S. currency, a safe and other miscellaneous items from a residence on Crooked Run Road, Mount Jackson.

Sept. 22: Michael Scott McDaniel of Timberville, Kenneth Chris Ritchie of Linville and Joshua Charles Stottlemyer of Mount Jackson were charged with felony manufacturing methamphetamine and conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine. They are scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on Oct. 11. Authorities also charged a 17-year-old juvenile male from New Market with felony manufacturing methamphetamine and felony conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine. His court date in Shenandoah County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court is pending.
