Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office police blotter, Sept. 5 - 16

The Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office reports the following:

Sept. 5: Authorities are investigating the breaking and entering of a church on South Ox Road, Edinburg.

Sept. 11: Roger Lee Johnson of Madison Heights was charged with felony breaking and entering and four counts of felony grand larceny.

Sept. 11: Authorities are investigating the breaking and entering and larceny of ropes and cattle accessories from a storage unit on Old Valley Pike, New Market.

Sept. 13: A 15-year-old juvenile female from Strasburg was charged with assault and battery of a family member, destruction of property and underage possession of tobacco.

Sept. 13: Larry Page Beahm of Front Royal was charged with driving while intoxicated. Beahm is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on Oct. 11.

Sept. 13: Dwayne Garret Fletcher of Jacksonville, Fla., was charged with driving while intoxicated. Fletcher is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on Oct. 25.

Sept. 15: Stephen Wade Smith Jr. of Winchester was charged with driving while intoxicated. Smith is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on Oct. 11.

Sept. 15: Dana Lee Massey of Strasburg was charged with appearing drunk in public. Massey is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on Oct. 25.

Sept. 15: Joseph Barnett of Leesburg was charged with felony distribution of a schedule I or II drug and conspiracy to distribute a schedule I or II drug.

Sept. 16: Authorities are investigating the breaking and entering and larceny of U.S. currency from a residence on Stoney Creek Road, Edinburg.
