Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office police blotter, Oct. 16 - 28


The Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office reports the following:

Oct. 16: Authorities are investigating the destruction of property of a vehicle parked at a school on Main Street, Mount Jackson.

Oct. 19: Authorities are investigating the destruction of property in the area of Mount Jackson Road and South Middle Road in Mount Jackson.

Oct. 20: Authorities are investigating the breaking and entering and destruction of property of a residence on Crooked Run Road, Mount Jackson, and larceny of firearms, hunting knives and binoculars.

Oct. 20: Authorities are investigating the breaking and entering and destruction of property of a residence on Crooked Run Road, Mount Jackson.

Oct. 21: Authorities are investigating the breaking and entering and larceny of U.S. currency from a residence on Smith Creek Road, New Market.

Oct. 22: Sybil Rae Hamman of Maurertown was charged with felony embezzlement. Hamman is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on Nov. 15.

Oct. 22: Authorities are investigating the larceny of a picnic table and a tailgate from a pickup at a residence on Senedo Road, Timberville.

Oct. 22: William Shoemaker of Edinburg was charged with felony manufacturing of meth, felony conspiracy to manufacture meth, distribution of a schedule I or II drug, felony child endangerment, felony maintaining a drug house and possession of products to manufacture meth.

Oct. 22: A 15-year-old juvenile male from Maurertown was charged with assault and battery. He is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court on Nov. 7.

Oct. 22: A 12-year-old juvenile male from Edinburg was charged with petit larceny. He is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court on Nov. 7.

Oct. 22: A 10-year-old juvenile male from New Market was charged with assault and battery. He is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court on Nov. 7.

Oct. 22: Authorities are investigating the larceny of prescription medication from a vehicle parked at a residence on S. Ox Road in Edinburg.

Oct. 23: Scott Edward Andrehsen and Melissa Caryl Andrehsen of Toms Brook were charged with felony destruction of property. They are scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on Nov. 8.

Oct. 23: Authorities are investigating the breaking and entering of a residence on Aspen Way, Basye.

Oct. 24: Authorities are investigating the destruction of property of a sign at property on Smith Creek Road, New Market.

Oct. 24: Authorities are investigating the larceny of an iPod from a school on Stonewall Lane, Quicksburg.

Oct. 25: Tiffany Nicole Helsley of Toms Brook was charged with two felony counts of distribution of a schedule III drug.

Oct. 25: Sabrena L. Fleming of Edinburg was charged with felony distribution of a schedule I or II drug.

Oct. 26: William David Ryman was charged with felony credit card larceny, petit larceny and unlawful entry of a vehicle. Ryman is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on Dec. 27.

Oct. 26: Authorities are investigating an attempted breaking and entering and destruction of property of a residence on Crooked Run Road, Mount Jackson.

Oct. 27: Derik Wayne Lamb of Timberville was charged with driving while intoxicated. Lamb is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on Dec. 13.

Oct. 27: Authorities are investigating the larceny of several hand tools and power tools, firearms, jewelry, DVDs, CDs and other personal accessories from a residence on Kings Acre Lane, Fort Valley.

Oct. 27: Authorities are investigating the larceny of a generator, cash register with U.S. currency and several power tools from a business on Wissler Road, Mount Jackson.
