Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office police blotter, Sept. 20 - 29

The Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office reports the following:

Sept. 20: Melissa Eileen Cordle of New Market was charged with three counts of animal cruelty. Cordle is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on Nov. 22.

Sept. 23: A 15-year-old juvenile male from Edinburg was charged with five counts of computer harassment, three counts of reproducing and distributing obscene material and three counts of using a computer to transmit obscene material. He is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court on Oct. 3.

Sept. 24: Authorities are investigating the larceny of prescription medication from a residence on Orkney Grade, Mount Jackson.

Sept. 24: Cynthia Broyles Valdespino of Quicksburg was charged with assault and battery. Valdespino is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on Oct. 25.

Sept. 24: Authorities are investigating the destruction of property of two vehicles at a storage facility on Old Valley Pike, New Market.

Sept. 24: Mitchell Wayne Stroop of New Market was charged with felony forgery of public records and identity theft. Stroop is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on Oct. 25.

Sept. 25: Two 15-year-old juvenile males from Mount Jackson were charged with assault and battery. They are scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court on Oct. 10.

Sept. 25: Dylan John Knouse of Toms Brook was charged with felony distribution of an imitation controlled substance. Knouse is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on Oct. 18.

Sept. 25: Columbus Butler of Mount Jackson was charged with felony distribution of a schedule I or II drug. Butler is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on Oct. 18.

Sept. 26: Authorities are investigating an attempted breaking and entering and destruction of property to a residence on Wisman Road, Woodstock.

Sept. 26: Bruce James Wolfe of Edinburg was charged with felony larceny, his third offense. Wolfe is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on Oct. 25.

Sept. 26: Andre Darden of Strasburg was charged with assault and battery of a family member. Darden is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court on Oct. 31.

Sept. 26: Brian Eugene McClanahan of Woodstock was charged with appearing drunk in public. McClanahan is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on Nov. 8.

Sept. 27: Authorities are investigating the hit and run and destruction of property of a covered bridge on Wissler Road, Mount Jackson.

Sept. 27: A 17-year-old juvenile male from Edinburg was charged with a felony attempt to commit an act of terrorism.

Sept. 28: Authorities are investigating the destruction of property of a residence on Junction Overlook, Strasburg.

Sept. 29: Authorities are investigating the larceny of a cell phone from a vehicle at a residence on Mount Olive Road, Toms Brook.
