Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office police blotter, Dec. 9 - 16

The Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office reports the following:

Dec. 6: Authorities are investigating the larceny of several pieces of jewelry from a residence on Seven Fountains Road, Fort Valley.

Dec. 9: Jessica Rea Steeves of Harrisonburg was charged with felony possession of a schedule I or II drug. Steeves' court date is pending in Shenandoah County Circuit Court.

Dec. 9: Coy Wayne Holt of Strasburg was charged with assault and battery. Holt is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on Jan. 10.

Dec. 9: Shanice Amanda Porter of Brooklyn, N.Y., was charged with being a fugitive from justice from Pennsylvania. Porter is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on Dec. 27.

Dec. 10: Jasbert Fitchett of Edinburg was charged with malicious wounding. Fitchett is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on Feb. 14.

Dec. 13: Authorities are investigating the breaking and entering and destruction of property of a residence on Senedo Road, Quicksburg, and the larceny of firearms.

Dec. 14: Jeremy Levi McWilliams of Star Tannery was charged with felony possession of a schedule I or II drug, felony assault and battery of a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest and obstruction of justice. McWilliams is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on Jan. 10.

Dec. 14: Roland Burgess Lindhurst of Woodstock was charged with reckless handling of a firearm and brandishing a firearm. Lindhurst is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on Dec. 27.
