Four arrested on prostitution-related charges

An investigation into a prostitution ring in Winchester resulted in charges against four individuals last week, according to a Winchester Police Department news release.
"Rachel Nicole Cook, 28, of Winchester, Samantha Nicole Porter, 19, of Gore, and Chelsey Elizabeth Kern, 18, of Winchester, were all arrested and charged with prostitution," the release said.
Another individual, Zachery Gloster, 26, of Florida, was charged with felony receiving money from a prostitute, the release continued.
Cook and Gloster were arrested in the 2700 block of Valley Avenue around 10 p.m. Thursday, and Porter and Kern were arrested in the 900 block of Milwood Pike around 12:30 a.m. Friday.
According to the release, Cook, Porter and Kern were soliciting sex online. The case is still under investigation.
All four individuals were taken to the northwestern Regional Adult Detention Center. The Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office assisted in the investigation.
