A Kmart Pharmacy in Front Royal was robbed Saturday, according to a Front Royal Police Department press release.

A white male entered the 465 South St. location in the Royal Plaza Shopping Center at around 1:30 p.m. and handed the pharmacist a note demanding prescription medication, the release stated.

"The suspect was provided with an undisclosed amount of medication and he then fled the store in an unknown location," the release continued.

Officers searched the surrounding area, the release stated, but were not able to locate the subject.

The male is described as mid to late 20s with a medium build and between 5 feet 7 inches and 5 feet 9 inches. At the time of the incident, he wore camouflage coveralls and a toboggan on his head, according to the release.

Anyone with information about the robbery should contact Detective Eric Rosemeck, Criminal Investigation Division of the Front Royal Police Department, at 540-636-2208 or erosemeck@frontroyalva.com.
