Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office police blotter, Dec. 24 - Jan. 6


The Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office reports the following:

Dec. 24: Authorities are investigating the larceny of a rifle from property located off of Alonzaville Road, Woodstock.

Dec. 28: Authorities are investigating the destruction of property of a vehicle at a residence on Brian Drive, Basye.

Dec. 30: Kimberly Ann Thorpe of Toms Brook was charged with dog killing livestock. Thorpe is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on Jan. 24.

Jan. 3: John Charles Conrad of New Market was charged with assault and battery of a family member and obstruction of justice. Conrad is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court on Jan. 16.

Jan. 4: Mary E. Gallop of Mount Jackson was charged with seven counts of animal cruelty, seven counts of unlicensed dogs and seven counts of failure to obtain rabies shots. Gallop is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on Jan. 24.

Jan. 4: Tamara Michele Leikiewicz of Woodstock was charged with having a dangerous dog. Leikieicz is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on Jan. 24.

Jan. 4: Derrick Michael Roy of Front Royal was charged with possession of marijuana. Roy is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on Feb. 28.

Jan. 4: Authorities are investigating a breaking and entering and destruction of property of a business on Rocco Drive, Edinburg and the larceny of a TV.

Jan. 5: Authorities are investigating the larceny of two dirt bikes from a parking lot on Edinburg Gap Road, Edinburg.

Jan. 5: Katie Ella Funkhouser of Fort Valley was charged with assault and battery. Funkhouser will appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on Jan. 10.

Jan. 6: Jeremy Steven Spence of Keezletown was charged with driving while intoxicated. Spence is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on Feb. 28.
