Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office police blotter, Jan. 13 - 21


The Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office reports the following:

Jan. 13: Authorities are investigating the destruction of property of a business on John Marshall Highway, Strasburg.

Jan. 16: Eric James Holmes of Edinburg was charged with shoplifting. Holmes is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on Feb. 22.

Jan. 16: Jeremy Matthew Dysart of Edinburg was charged with felony grand larceny and felony larceny with intent to sell. Dysart is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on Feb. 14.

Jan. 16: Authorities are investigating the larceny of a battery from a vehicle at a residence on Laurel Hill Way, Lebanon Church.

Jan. 17: Authorities are investigating the destruction of property of a vehicle at a residence on Toms Brook Drive, Toms Brook.

Jan. 18: Tony Lynn Palmer of Fort Valley was charged with assault and battery of a family member. Palmer is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court on Feb. 13.

Jan. 20: Gary Edward Largent of Woodstock was charged with annoying phone calls. Largent is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on Feb. 14.

Jan. 20: Rebecca Kristine Smith of Toms Brook was charged with felony bad check. Smith is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on Feb. 14.

Jan. 20: Authorities are investigating the destruction of property of a roadway in the area of Ridge Road and River Road, New Market.

Jan. 21: Authorities are investigating the breaking and entering and destruction of property of a residence on Mt. Olive Road, Toms Brook.

Jan. 21: Authorities are investigating the breaking and entering and destruction of property of a residence on John Marshall Highway, Strasburg, and the larceny of U.S. currency.

Jan. 21: Authorities are investigating the breaking and entering and destruction of property of a residence on Back Road, Toms Brook, and the larceny of jewelry.
