Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office police blotter, Feb. 8 - 17


The Shenandoah County Sheriff's office reports the following:

Feb. 8: Authorities are investigating the burglary of household items from a residence on Oak Lane, New Market.

Feb. 10: Authorities are investigating the vandalism of a vehicle on Hawkins Road, Mount Jackson.

Feb. 10: Authorities are investigating the larceny of an ATV from a residence on Red Banks Road, Mount Jackson.

Feb. 11: Stephanie Lorraine Ruffner of Maurertown was charged with hit and run. Ruffner is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on Feb. 28.

Feb. 11: Authorities are investigating the vandalism of a vehicle at a residence on Boliver Road, Fort Valley.

Feb. 12: Patrick Joseph Wakeman of Edinburg was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Wakeman is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court on Feb. 27.

Feb. 12: Authorities are investigating the breaking of a business on Orkney Grad in Mount Jackson and the larceny of miscellaneous items.

Feb. 14: Authorities are investigating the breaking and entering and destruction of property to a building on West Lee Highway, New Market.

Feb. 17: Michael L. Adkins of Mount Sidney was charged with sexual battery. Adkins is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on Feb. 28.

Feb. 16: Megan Shea Pleasants of Mount Jackson was charged with assault and battery of a family member. Pleasants is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court on March 6.

Feb. 16: Authorities are investigating the breaking and entering and damage of property to a residence on Edinburg Gab Road, Edinburg, and the removal of an ATV.

Feb. 17: Kevin Paul Crosier of Shenandoah was charged with violating a court order. Crosier was scheduled to appear in Shenandoah General District Court on Feb. 18.

Feb. 17: Authorities are investigating the breaking and entering of a residence on Crooked Run Road, Mount Jackson.
