Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office police blotter, Feb. 24 - March 4

The Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office reports the following:

Feb. 24: Authorities are investigating the larceny of U.S. currency, medication and a credit card from a residence on Palmyra Church Road, Edinburg.

Feb. 25: Crystal Dawn Sutherly of Harrisonburg was charged with trespassing. Sutherly is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on March 14.

Feb. 25: Authorities are investigating the larceny of a bag containing personal items from a residence on Shellie Road, Edinburg.

Feb. 25: Kevin Michael Wegman was charged with possession of marijuana. Wegman is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on March 21.

Feb. 26: Jeremy Levi McWilliams of Star Tannery was charged with fraudulently receiving goods, credit card fraud, and identity fraud. The court date is pending in Shenandoah County Circuit Court.

Feb. 26: Kenneth Wayne Delawder of Stanley was charged with manufacturing a schedule Ii controlled substance. The court date is pending in Shenandoah County Circuit Court.

Feb. 26: Jacob Lee Spitler of New Market was charged with possession of a schedule I or II drug. Spitler is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on March 21.

Feb. 27: Authorities are investigating the breaking and entering and destruction of property to a residence on Smith Creek Road, New Market, and the larceny of copper.

Feb. 28: Authorities are investigating the vandalism of a mailbox from a residence on Julius Keller Road, Strasburg.

Feb. 28: Jonathan David Funkhouser of Toms Brook was charged with two counts of trespassing and destruction of property. Funkhouse is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court on March 20.

Feb. 28: Melissa Ann Brown of Strasburg was charged with assault and battery of a family member. Brown is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court on March 20.

March 1: Salomen Lopez Hernandez of Winchester was charged with possession and conspiracy to possess a schedule I or II drug. Roberto Merano Lopez of Winchester was charged with possession and conspiracy to possess a schedule I or II drug. Hernandez and Lopez are scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on March 14.

March 1: Hoyle Selwyn Laughlin III of Woodstock was charged with eluding police. Laughlin is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on March 21.

March 1: Authorities are investigating the vandalism of a mailbox at a residence on Stout Road, Edinburg.

March 2: John Godfrey Stokes of Old Valley Pike, New Market, was charged with two counts of destruction of property, resisting arrest, and for appearing drunk in public. Stokes is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on March 21.
