Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office police blotter, May 19 - 27

The Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office reports the following:

May 12: Authorities are investigating the larceny of a wood splitter from a residence on Helsley Road, Edinburg.

May 18: Authorities are investigating the larceny of gasoline from an airplane at a business on River Road, New Market.

May 20: Michelle Renee Heflin of Edinburg was charged with two counts of trespassing. Heflin is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on June 27.

May 14: A 16-year-old juvenile was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, underage possession of alcohol, driving without a license and reckless driving. The juvenile is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court on June 5.

May 22: Michael Alan Harlow of Mount Jackson was charged with appearing drunk in public. Harlow is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on June 27.

May 22: Authorities are investigating the vandalism of a door at an outbuilding on John Manville Road, Edinburg, and the larceny of a generator.

May 22: Valerie Ann Spiker of Toms Brook was charged with appearing drunk in public. Spiker is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on July 25.

May 23: A 16-year-old juvenile was charged with assault and battery. The juvenile is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court on June 5.

May 23: A 15-year-old juvenile was charged with obscenity. The juvenile is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court on May 29.

May 23: Authorities are investigating the vandalism of a vehicle at a residence on Old Valley Pike, Toms Brook.

May 24: Authorities are investigating the larceny of a power washer and two tool boxes containing tools from a trailer on Old Valley Pike, Woodstock.

May 24: Authorities are investigating the larceny of three kayaks from Red Banks Road, Mount Jackson.

May 25: Authorities are investigating the vandalism of a door and window at a residence on Crab Apple Road, Basye.
