Shenandoah County Sheriff’s blotter Jan. 2-18

The Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:

Jan. 2: A larceny was reported. Someone removed two license plates from a vehicle parked on Old Valley Pike, Strasburg.

Jan. 3: A destruction of property was reported. Someone damaged a window at a residence on Walker Road, Mount Jackson.

Jan. 10: A larceny was reported. Someone removed frozen meat from a residence on Woods Chapel Road, New Market.

Jan. 12: Martin James Gruschin, of Woodstock, was charged with breaking and entering, grand larceny and stolen property with intent to sell. Court date is 9 a.m. Jan. 26 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

Jan. 14: Jesse Reynard Price, of Woodstock, was charged with buying stolen goods. Court date is 9 a.m. Jan. 26 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

Jan. 12: A breaking and entering was reported. Someone entered a business causing damage and removed U.S. currency on Mt. Jackson Road, Mount Jackson.

Jan. 12: A destruction of property was reported. Someone damaged windows and doors at a residence on Old Valley Pike, Edinburg.

Jan. 12: Michael Allen McDaniel, of Woodstock, was charged with assault and battery on a family member. Court date is 9 a.m. Jan. 22 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

Jan. 13: A destruction of property was reported. Someone damaged windows and doors at a residence on Madie Byrd Park, Toms Brook.

Jan. 14: Amanda Michelle Fallon, of Broadway, was charged with driving under the influence. Court date is 2 p.m. Feb. 27 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

Jan. 16: An auto larceny was reported. Someone removed a vehicle from a residence on South Middle Road, Mount Jackson.

Jan. 17: A larceny was reported. Someone removed two license plates from a vehicle parked on Stage Coach Road, Woodstock.

Jan. 18: Jeffrey Alan Lawhorne, of Maurertown, was charged with three counts of embezzlement, eight counts of exploiting a mental person for money and abuse of an incapacitated adult. Court date is pending in Shenandoah County Circuit Court.

Jan. 18: A destruction of property was reported. Someone damaged tires on a vehicle at a residence on Lakeview Drive, Woodstock.

Jan. 18: Steven Wayne Mason, of Woodstock, was charged with simple assault. Court date is 2 p.m. Feb. 13 in Shenandoah County General District Court.
