Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office police blotter, Feb. 2-9

The Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:

Feb. 2: A larceny was reported. Someone removed a license plate from a vehicle parked on Fairway Drive, Basye.

Feb. 2: A larceny was reported. Someone removed various hand and power tools from a building on Knupp Road, Mount Jackson.

Feb. 2: A larceny was reported. Someone removed license plates from two vehicles parked at a business on Old Valley Pike, Woodstock.

Feb. 2: A breaking and entering was reported. Someone attempted to enter a business causing damage on Old Valley Pike, Strasburg.

Feb. 4: Brian Michael Heister, of Basye, was charged with grand larceny. Court date is 2 p.m. March 13 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

Feb. 4: A destruction of property was reported. Someone damaged a vehicle parked on McGarvey Road, Edinburg.

Feb. 4: A larceny was reported. Someone damaged a game camera and removed the batteries from a property on Grandstaff Lane, Edinburg.

Feb. 5: A breaking and entering was reported. Someone attempted to enter a residence on Senedo Road, Mount Jackson.

Feb. 6: Jonathan Lee Long Jr., of Winchester, was charged with destruction of property. Court date is 2 p.m., Feb. 13 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

Feb. 6: A larceny was reported. Someone damaged a trailer strap and removed tarps from a parking lot on Old Valley Pike, Edinburg.

Feb. 6: A larceny was reported. Someone damaged two vehicles and removed change and auto parts on Breckenridge Court, Strasburg.

Feb. 8: A breaking and entering was reported. Someone entered a residence causing damage and removed fishing poles, map and ammunition from a residence on Peach Orchard Road, Strasburg.

Feb. 8: A breaking and entering was reported. Someone entered a residence causing damage and removed keys from a residence on Aspen Way South, Basye.

Feb. 9: Robert Clifton Green III, of Mount Jackson, was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a Schedule I/II drug and manufacturing methamphetamine. Court date is 9 a.m. March 6 in Shenandoah County General District Court.
