Police Blotter

The Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:

March 27: Davy Lee Dove, of New Market, was charged with possession of marijuana. Court date is 2 p.m. April 24 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

April 6: Gary Edward Largent, of Woodstock, was charged with assault and battery. Court date is 9 a.m. May 15 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

April 6: A larceny was reported. Someone damaged a meter lock and removed power at a residence on Madie Byrd Park, Toms Brook.

April 7: A larceny was reported. Someone removed a cellular phone from a business on Senedo Road, Edinburg.

April 8: A vandalism was reported. Someone damaged a vending machine at a business on Old Valley Pike, Maurertown.

April 9: Teresa Gale Baker, of Mount Jackson, was charged with assault and battery on a family member. Court date is 9 a.m. April 23 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

April 9: Dennis Dale Baker, of Mount Jackson, was charged with assault and battery on a family member. Court date is 9 a.m. April 23 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

April 10: A larceny was reported. Someone took a purse containing U.S. currency and various credit cards from a business on White Mill Road, New Market.

April 11: Travis Franklin Lichliter, of Edinburg, was charged with driving with a suspended license and driving while intoxicated. Court date is 2 p.m. May 8 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

April 11: A larceny was reported. Someone removed license plate decals from a vehicle parked at the park and ride in Strasburg.

April 12: Paul Daniel Triplett, of Winchester, was charged with identity theft, credit card larceny and two counts of credit card fraud. Court date is pending in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

April 12: A larceny was reported. Someone removed various tools from a building on Third Hill Lane, Mount Jackson.
