Police Blotter

The Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:

April 24: Berlin S. Dove, of New Market, was charged with distribution of a Schedule I/II drug. Court date is pending in Shenandoah Count Circuit Court.

April 27: Davaughn Marquete Hammonds, of Elizabethtown, North Carolina, was charged with breaking and entering and two counts of larceny. Court date is pending in Shenandoah County General District Court.

April 27: Mark A Brown Jr., of Edinburg, was charged with purchasing tobacco for a minor. Court date is 9 a.m. May 21 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

April 27: James Darrell Fadley, of Mount Jackson, was charged with assault and battery on a family member. Court date is 9 a.m. May 21 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

April 28: Anthony Carroll Getz, of Maurertown, was charged with assault and battery on a family member. Court date is 9 a.m. May 21 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

April 30: Randall Scott Coben, of Winchester, was charged with abduction, assault and battery, obstruction of justice and destroying a telephone line to prevent help. Court date is 2 p.m. May 22 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

May 3: A breaking and entering was reported. Someone entered a residence causing damage and removed a pet dog from a residence on Orkney Grade, Basye.
