Police Blotter

The Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office has reported the following incidents:

April 16: A vandalism was reported. Someone damaged an outbuilding at a residence on Miller Road, Edinburg.

April 27: A larceny was reported. Someone removed a purse from a school on Susan Avenue, Woodstock. The purse was recovered.

May 1: A destruction of property was reported. Someone damaged a vehicle on Interstate 81.

May 4: A larceny was reported. Someone removed a sign from property on Supinlick Ridge Road, Mount Jackson.

May 4: An attempted breaking and entering was reported. Someone attempted to enter a residence causing damage on South Middle Road, Mount Jackson.

May 4: A vandalism was reported. Someone damaged property at a residence on Zepp Road, Star Tannery.

May 5: A burglary was reported. Someone entered a business and removed U.S. currency on Fravel Road, Woodstock.

May 5: Matthew Christopher Pearson, of Edinburg, was charged with assault and battery on a family member. Court date is 9 a.m. June 11 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

May 5: A 14-year-old was charged with assault and battery on a family member. Court date is 11 a.m. May 21 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

May 5: A vandalism was reported. Someone damaged a vehicle on Graveltown Road, Quicksburg.

May 5: Philip Lee Runion, of Edinburg, was charged with appearing drunk in public, with possession of marijuana and destruction of property. Court date is 2 p.m. June 12 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

May 7: Scott Tyler Levine, of Paw Paw, West Virginia, was charged with being a fugitive of justice from New Jersey. Court date is 2 p.m. June 12 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

May 7: A larceny was reported. Someone entered a residence and removed prescription medication, a handgun, a crossbow and copper on Woods Lane, Strasburg.

May 7: A destruction of property was reported. Someone damaged property on Hollingsworth Road.

May 7: Justin Lee Jenkins, of Mount Jackson, was charged with distribution of marijuana and conspiracy to distribute marijuana. Court date is 9 a.m. June 12 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

May 9: Codie Lynn Burnette, of Woodstock, was charged with grand larceny. Court date is 2 p.m. June 26 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

May 10: Corbyn Lee Rush, of Maurertown, was charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle, destruction of property, assault and battery, three counts of assault and battery on law enforcement and assault and battery on a family member. Court dates are 9 a.m. June 11 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court and 11 a.m. June 26 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

May 10: Justin Lee Jenkins, of Mount Jackson, was charged with possession of marijuana. Court date is 11 a.m. June 26 in Shenandoah County General District Court.
