Police Blotter

The Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:

June 8: Justin Eric Hassler, of Mount Jackson, was charged with embezzlement. Court date is pending in Shenandoah County Circuit Court.

June 8: A damage of property was reported. Someone damaged a sign on Pleasant View Road, Mount Jackson.

June 9: Arin Christopher Hahn, of Harrisonburg, was charged with distribution of a Schedule I/II drug and possession of a Schedule I/II drug. Court date is pending in Shenandoah County Circuit Court.

June 9: Noel Breton Symonds, of Greencastle, Pennsylvania, was charged with driving while intoxicated. Court date is 2 p.m. July 10 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

June 10: A damage of property was reported. Someone damaged a yard on Old Valley Pike, Mount Jackson.

June 10: A breaking and entering was reported. Someone entered a business on Fravel Road, Woodstock, and caused damage.

June 11: A 16-year-old male was charged with assault and battery. Court date is 11 a.m. July 2 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

June 11: A damage of property was reported. Someone damaged property on Neese Lane, New Market.

June 11: Joseph T. Herbert, of Strasburg, was charged with distribution of marijuana. Court date is 9 a.m. July 10 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

June 12: A larceny was reported. Someone entered a storage building and trailer and caused damage and removed drywall equipment, miscellaneous DVDs, a grill and power equipment on Rose Road, Edinburg.

June 12: A damage of property was reported. Someone damaged a yard on Indian Camp Trail Way, Maurertown.

June 13: A larceny was reported. Someone removed prescription medication from a residence on Smith Creek Road, New Market.

June 13: Bonifacio H. Hernandez, of Winchester, was charged with appearing drunk in public. Court date is 2 p.m. July 24 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

June 14: Justin Lee Webster, of Mount Jackson, was charged with appearing drunk in public, resisting arrest, assault and battery on law enforcement, domestic assault, escape by force and disorderly conduct. Court dates are 2 p.m. July 10 in Shenandoah County General District Court and 9 a.m. Aug. 13 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

June 14: A breaking and entering was reported. Someone entered a business, caused damage and removed two utility vehicles on Johns Mansville Drive, Edinburg.
