Police Blotter

The Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:

May 20: A breaking and entering was reported. Someone entered a building and removed various tools on Old Valley Pike, New Market.

May 20: A larceny was reported. Someone removed a lawnmower from a business on Johns Manville Drive, Edinburg.

May 23: A larceny was reported. Someone removed a cell phone from a school on Sandy Hook Road, Strasburg. The cell phone was recovered.

May 26: Allen Michael Steward, of Mount Jackson, was charged with burglary and destruction of property. Court date is 2 p.m. June 26 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

May 26: Randy Lee Lonas, of Mount Jackson, was charged with burglary and destruction of property. Court date is 2 p.m. June 26 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

May 26: Clinton M. Burton, of Broadway, was charged with distribution of a Schedule I/II drug. Court date is pending in Shenandoah County Circuit Court.

May 26: A larceny was reported. Someone removed a firearm from a vehicle on Coal Mine Road, Strasburg.

May 26: A larceny was reported. Someone removed a book bag containing a wallet and prescription medication on New Market Depot and River roads, New Market.

May 27: A breaking and entering was reported. Someone entered an outbuilding and removed weed eaters, electronics, china, mason jars, coolers, DVDs, household items, riding lawnmower, tools, jewelry and a computer on Edinburg Gap Road, Edinburg.

May 28: An 11-year-old was charged with three counts of sexual battery. Court date is 11 a.m. June 11 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

May 28: A 16-year-old was charged with destruction of property and reckless handling of a firearm. Court date is 11 a.m. June 25 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

May 28: A 17-year-old was charged with underage possession of tobacco. Court date is 2 p.m. June 25 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

May 28: Joseph Daniel Davis Jr., of Monroeville, New Jersey, was charged with driving while intoxicated and with refusal of a breath test. Court date is 9 a.m. June 12 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

May 29: Nikea Miller, of Woodstock, was charged with distribution of a Schedule I/II drug. Court date is pending in Shenandoah County Circuit Court.

May 29: Lisa Gae Payne, of Quicksburg, was charged with assault and battery on a family member. Court date is 9 a.m. July 30 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

May 29: Bryan Keith Payne, of Quicksburg, was charged with assault and battery on a family member. Court date is 9 a.m. July 30 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

May 29: A larceny was reported. Someone removed eight hose adapters from a business on Johns Manville Drive, Edinburg.

May 31: Jovany De Jesus, of Quicksburg, was charged with assault and battery on a family member. Court date is 9 a.m. June 18 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.
