Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office Police Blotter

The Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:

July 31: A destruction of property was reported. Someone damaged a livestock gate on Maurertown Mill Road, Maurertown.

Aug. 2: A destruction of property was reported. Someone damaged yard plants on Deer Rapids Road, Strasburg.

Aug. 3: Alexandra K. Lohr, of 343 Banks Fort Road, Strasburg, was charged with obtaining money by false pretense and embezzlement. Court date is 9 a.m. Aug. 14 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

Aug. 3: A destruction of property was reported. Someone damaged a driveway lamp on Cemetery Road, Woodstock.

Aug. 3: A destruction of property was reported. Someone damaged two vehicles on Greenleaf Road and Wise Avenue, Strasburg.

Aug. 4: A larceny was reported. Someone removed a package from a residence on Lakeview Drive, Woodstock.

Aug. 4: A larceny was reported. Someone removed furniture from a residence on Washington Street, Woodstock.

Aug. 5: A destruction of property was reported. Someone damaged a rear spoiler and removed a sunroof from a vehicle on Old Valley Pike, Woodstock.

Aug. 5: A larceny was reported. Someone removed a flag from a residence on Shenandoah Avenue, Edinburg.

Aug. 6: Darrell Thomas Haun, of 195 Jessica Place, Toms Brook, was charged with violation of a protective order. Court date is 2 p.m. Sept. 11 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

Aug. 6: A larceny was reported. Someone entered a business and residence and removed U.S. currency and gasoline on South Fort Valley Road, Fort Valley.

Aug. 7: A destruction of property was reported. Someone damaged a vehicle on Copp Road, Strasburg.

Aug. 8: Clinton Shawn Braithwaite, of 303 Meghann Drive, Woodstock, was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and obtaining money by false pretense. Court date is 2 p.m. Sept. 11 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

Aug. 8: Edward Roscoe Fox, of 9526 Cadet Road, New Market, was charged with assault and battery on a family member, threat to burn house and threat to damage vehicle. Court date is 9 a.m. Aug. 13 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

Aug. 8: Jeremy Wild Oates, of 289 Cottonwood Drive, Mount Jackson, was charged with larceny and breaking and entering. Court date is 2 p.m. Sept. 14 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

Aug. 9: A destruction of property was reported. Someone damaged a residence on Aspen Way, Mount Jackson.
