Police Blotter

The Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:

Sept. 18: A destruction of property was reported. Someone damaged pool equipment at a residence on Riverview Drive, Toms Brook.

Sept. 20: A larceny was reported. Someone removed a purse containing U.S. currency and prescription medication on South Main Street and Stoney Creek Boulevard, Edinburg.

Sept. 21: A larceny was reported. Someone removed a chainsaw, weed eater, push mower, various hand tools and U.S. currency from a residence on Smith Creek Road, New Market.

Sept. 22: John McGee Bohen, of 84 Gunn Lane, Woodstock, was charged with three counts of aggravated sexual battery and three counts of indecent liberties with a child under 15 years old. Court date is pending in Shenandoah County Circuit Court.

Sept. 22: Joseph Jeffery Carr, of 108 Chapel Drive, Edinburg, was charged with larceny. Court date is 11 a.m. Oct. 23 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

Sept. 22: A destruction of property was reported. Someone damaged a door at a school on Susan Avenue, Woodstock.

Sept. 23: Bradley James McInturff, of 368 Victory Road, Winchester, was charged with child abuse, assault and battery on a family member and child endangerment. Court date is pending in Shenandoah County Circuit Court.

Sept. 23: Mark Alan Brown Jr., of 163 Bottom Road, Edinburg, was charged with assault and battery. Court date is 9 a.m. Oct. 15 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

Sept. 23: Patricia Leigh Spencer, of 2605 Zion Church Road, Maurertown, was charged with allowing a dog to run at large. Court date is 2 p.m. Nov. 13 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

Sept. 23: A breaking and entering was reported. Someone entered a residence on Rittenour Road, Edinburg.

Sept. 24: James Turner, of 1110 Meander Drive, Culpeper, was charged with two counts of forgery. Court date is 2 p.m. Nov. 13 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

Sept. 25: A larceny was reported. Someone removed chainsaws and power tools from a building on Woods Lane, Strasburg.

Sept. 25: Kristina Lea Cach, of 851 Indian Rock Road, Lebanon Church, was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor and assault and battery on a family member. Court date is 9 a.m. Oct. 1 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

Sept. 27: A larceny was reported. Someone entered a residence and removed two firearms on Miller Road, Edinburg.
