Police Blotter

The Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:

Sept. 29: A destruction of property was reported. Someone damaged an electronic panel on Old Grade Road, Strasburg.

Oct. 4: A larceny was reported. Someone removed diesel fuel and truck parts on Mt. Olive Road, Toms Brook.

Oct. 5: A larceny was reported. Someone removed a radio from a truck on North Main Street, Woodstock.

Oct. 5: A larceny was reported. Someone removed a Virginia state inspection sticker from a vehicle on Pouts Hill Road, Strasburg.

Oct. 6: Ronald Edward Leonard Jr., of 1034 Deerhead Road, Mount Jackson, was charged with violating a protective order. Court date is 9 a.m. Nov. 12 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

Oct. 6: A larceny was reported. Someone removed a sign on Wolf Gap Road, Edinburg.

Oct. 6 and 7: A destruction of property was reported. Someone damaged residences, vehicles and mailboxes with spray paint in the area of Printz Street, Edinburg.

Oct. 7: A destruction of property was reported. Someone damaged an outdoor light on Sand Ridge Road, Toms Brook.

Oct. 7: A destruction of property was reported. Someone damaged a gate chain on Ridge Road, New Market.

Oct. 8: An auto larceny was reported. Someone removed a vehicle from a business on Old Valley Pike, Edinburg.

Oct. 9: A larceny was reported. Someone removed a copper kettle and animal trap from a residence on Crooked Run Road, Basye.

Oct. 9: A destruction of property was reported. Someone damaged two interior doors at a school on Stonewall Lane, Quicksburg.

Oct. 9: Larry Kemper Clinedinst Jr., of 172 Dellinger Gap Road, Edinburg, was charged with being drunk in public. Court date is 2 p.m. Nov. 20 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

Oct. 10: A 17 year old was charged with assault and battery. Court date is 11 a.m. Oct. 15 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

Oct. 10: Candace Ann Green, of 185 Millertown Road, Edinburg, was charged with trespassing. Court date is 11 a.m. Nov. 20 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

Oct. 11: Rebecca Ellen Rhinehart, of 771 New Market Depot Road, New Market, was charged with allowing a dangerous dog to run at large. Court date is 11 a.m. Nov. 20 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

Oct. 11: Robert Edward Jones, of 18223 Swiss Circle, Apartment 4, Germantown, Maryland, was charged with appearing drunk in public. Court date is 2 p.m. Nov. 20 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

Oct. 11: Dominique Isiah Smallwood, of 3967 Wistman Lane, Myersville, Maryland, was charged with driving while intoxicated and refusing to take a blood/breath test. Court date is 2 p.m. Nov. 20 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

Oct. 12: Michael Paul Savage, of 9635 John Sevier Road, New Market, was charged with larceny of wire. Court date is 2 p.m. Nov. 13 in Shenandoah County General District Court.
