The Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:

Dec. 26: A destruction of property was reported. Someone damaged a vehicle on Prim Rose Lane, Edinburg.

Dec. 28: A 17 year old was charged with three counts of distribution of marijuana and two counts of conspiracy to sell/give/distribute marijuana. Court date is 2 p.m. Feb. 11 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

Dec. 29: Eric Thomas Nelson, of New Market, was charged with malicious wounding, strangulation and assaulting a family member. Court date is 9 a.m. Feb. 4 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

Dec. 30: Eric Thomas Nelson, of New Market, was charged with assaulting a family member. Court date is 9 a.m. Jan. 21 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

Dec. 31: A breaking and entering was reported. Someone entered a building causing damage on Quicksburg Mill Lane, Quicksburg.

Dec. 31: A destruction of property was reported. Someone damaged a garage on New Market Depot Road, New Market.

Jan. 1: Sirreginald Benton, of Woodstock, was charged with assault and battery. Court date is 2 p.m. Jan. 22 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

Jan. 1: Robert Daniel Waynee, of Fort Valley, was charged with assaulting a family member. Court date is 9 a.m. Feb. 18 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

Jan. 2: Richard Paul Neff Jr., of Edinburg, was charged with two counts of assaulting a family member and strangulation. Court date is 9 a.m. Feb. 4 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

Jan. 3: Richard Lee Weatherholtz, of Bunker Hill, West Virginia, was charged with appearing drunk in public. Court date is 9 a.m. Feb. 26 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

Jan. 4: Joshua Samuel Brazee, of Edinburg, was charged with appearing drunk in public. Court date is 9 a.m. Feb. 26 in Shenandoah County General District Court.
