Police Blotter

The Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:

May 5: A breaking and entering was reported. Someone entered a church causing damage and removed various items on Solomons Church Road, Quicksburg.

May 5: A breaking and entering was reported. Someone entered a residence and removed various household items on Water Street, Edinburg.

May 8: A breaking and entering was reported. Someone entered a residence causing damage and removed various items on Back Road, Maurertown.

May 9: A 15 year old was charged with making threats. Court date is 11 a.m. May 19 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

May 9: A destruction of property was reported. Someone damaged a vehicle on Stonewall Lane, Quicksburg.

May 10: A 12 year old was charged with assault and battery on law enforcement. Court date is pending in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

May 10: A larceny was reported. Someone removed spare tires and gasoline from a truck on Mt. Olive Road, Toms Brook.

May 11: A larceny was reported. Someone removed a sign from a residence on Polk Street, Basye.

May 11: Delores Frances Kline, of Edinburg, was charged with animal cruelty. Court date is 2 p.m. June 17 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

May 12: A 17 year old was charged with assault. Court date is 11 a.m. June 2 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

May 12: An attempted breaking and entering was reported. Someone attempted to break into an outbuilding, causing damage on South Middle Road, New Market.

May 14: Christopher Douglas Woetzel, of Edinburg, was charged with assaulting a family member. Court date is 9 a.m. June 2 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

May 14: Jessica Renea Price, of New Market, was charged with assaulting a family member. Court date is 9 a.m. June 16 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

May 15: A larceny was reported. Someone removed license plate decals from a vehicle on Brook Creek Road, Toms Brook.

May 15: Denise Elaine Scott, of Mount Jackson, was charged with driving while intoxicated. Court date is 2 p.m. July 8 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

May 16: Mitchell Loring Birkett Jr., of Stephenson, was charged with driving with a revoked license and driving while intoxicated. Court date is 9 a.m. June 24 in Shenandoah County General District Court.
