The Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:

June 2: Douglas Joe Andrews, of Edinburg, was charged with two counts of distribution of a controlled substance. Court date is pending in Shenandoah County Circuit Court.

June 5: A breaking and entering was reported. Someone entered a residence causing damage and removed several items on Rolly Road, Mount Jackson.

June 6: A larceny was reported. Someone removed a wallet containing U.S. currency, credit cards and identification cards from a residence on North Main Street, Toms Brook.

June 7: Suzanna M. McCoy, of Toms Brook, was charged with two counts of a consensual sexual act with a child 15 or older. Court date is 9 a.m. June 16 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

June 10: Brandon Gregory Shields, of Strasburg, was charged with failure to report child abuse or neglect. Court date is 10 a.m. June 16 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

June 7: A destruction of property was reported. Someone damaged a yard on Orkney Grade, Basye.

June 7: A larceny was reported. Someone removed license plate decals from a vehicle on Orkney Grade, Basye.

June 7: A larceny was reported. Someone removed prescription medication from a residence on Old Valley Pike, Toms Brook.

June 9: Carey Rose Bailey, of Edinburg, was charged with animal cruelty. Court date is 2:30 p.m. June 14 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

June 9: John Nelson Redman, of Edinburg, was charged with the purchase/transport of a gun while under a protective order and three counts of violating a protective order. Court date is 9 a.m. July 21 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

June 9: A destruction of property was reported. Someone damaged a residence on Beauregard Drive, Basye.

June 9: A larceny was reported. Someone removed a dirt bike, ATV, trailer, ladder and battery charger on Woods Lane, Strasburg.

June 10: David A. Wallace Jr., of Winchester, was charged with appearing drunk in public. Court date is 11 a.m. July 8 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

June 12: Tyler Adam Didawick, of Woodstock, was charged with possession of marijuana. Court date is 9 a.m. July 8 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

June 12: A breaking and entering was reported. Someone entered a residence causing damage and removed a television on Cottonwood Drive, Basye.
