Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office blotter

The Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:

July 18: A destruction of property was reported. Someone damaged a vehicle on Wolf Gap Road, Edinburg.

July 19: Chad Erik Wright, address unknown, was charged with harassing emergency personnel by telephone. Court date is pending in Shenandoah County GD Court.

July 19: Kevin M. Powers, of Edinburg, was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, possession of a Schedule I/II drug, possession of a Schedule IV drug, two counts of child endangerment and two counts of manufacturing methamphetamine in the presence of a child. Court date is pending in Shenandoah County Circuit Court.

July 20: A larceny was reported. Someone removed a welder from a building on River Road, New Market.

July 21: A larceny was reported. Someone removed prescription medication from a residence on Readus Road, Edinburg.

July 22: Deborah Kay Baker, of Woodstock, was charged with five counts of animal cruelty. Court date is 11 a.m. Sept. 9 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

July 22: Frederick Leon Petty, of Woodstock, was charged with malicious wounding. Court date is 9 a.m. Aug. 4 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

July 22: Susan Lynn Yates, of Front Royal, was charged with driving while intoxicated. Court date is 9 a.m. Aug. 19 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

July 22: Charles Edward Brinklow, of Edinburg, was charged with assault and battery on a family member. Court date is 9 a.m. Sept. 8 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

July 22: James Franklin Smith, of Toms Brook, was charged with animal cruelty. Court date is 11 a.m. Sept. 16 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

July 23: Frederick Leon Petty, of Woodstock, was charged with carrying a concealed weapon and obstruction of justice. Court date is 9 a.m. Aug. 19 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

July 23: Charles Edward Brinklow, of Edinburg, was charged with using threatening language over the telephone. Court date is 2 p.m. Sept. 16 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

July 23: A larceny was reported. Someone entered a residence and removed a firearm, prescription medication and U.S. currency on Senedo Road, Edinburg.

July 24: A larceny was reported. Someone removed a bag containing a cell phone, driver’s license and credit card on Happy Valley Road, Basye.
