Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office blotter

The Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:

Aug. 21: A destruction of property was reported. Someone damaged a vehicle on Lakeview Drive, Woodstock.

Aug. 22: A destruction of property was reported. Someone damaged a sign and property on Saint Luke Road, Woodstock.

Aug. 22: A breaking and entering was reported. Someone entered a vehicle on Piccadilly Street, Edinburg.

Aug. 23: Uriah Benjamin Cowger, of Harrisonburg, was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and driving while intoxicated. Court date is 2 p.m. Sept. 16 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

Aug. 23: A larceny was reported. Someone removed U.S. currency from a residence on North Main Street, Toms Brook.

Aug. 24: A 15 year old was charged with two counts of assault and battery on law enforcement, underage possession of tobacco, trespassing and entering a vehicle set in motion. Court date is 11 a.m. Sept. 15 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

Aug. 25: Teresa Lynn Yates, of Fisher, West Virginia, was charged with appearing drunk in public and being a pedestrian on a controlled access highway. Court date is 2 p.m. Oct. 28 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

Aug. 26: A destruction of property was reported. Someone damaged a vehicle on Breckenridge Court, Strasburg.

Aug. 26: Darryk Lywn Stead, of Basye, was charged with assault and battery. Court date is 9 a.m. Sept. 29 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

Aug. 27: Jennifer Ann Cornell, address unknown, was charged with interfering with property rights of another and trespassing. Court date is 9 a.m. Sept. 16 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

Aug. 27: A larceny was reported. Someone removed a wallet containing U.S. currency and keys from a vehicle on Riverview Drive, Toms Brook.

Aug. 28: Joshua David Fanning, of Glenwood, Maryland, was charged with driving while intoxicated (fourth-plus offense) and hit and run. Court date is 11 a.m. Sept. 23 in Shenandoah County General District Court.
