Police Blotter: Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office

The Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:

April 6: A larceny was reported. Someone removed copper on Short Run Lane, Mount Jackson.

April 8: A breaking and entering was reported. Someone entered a residence and removed a mirror and mower on Readus Road, Edinburg.

April 10: Ian Joseph Vann, of Woodstock, has been charged with possession of marijuana. Court date is 11 a.m. May 26 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

April 10: Dakota Wayne Miller, of Edinburg, has been charged with possession of a Schedule I/II drug. Court date is 11 a.m. May 26 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

April 11: Bradley Reed Ritchie, of Harrisonburg, has been charged with embezzlement and larceny with intent to sell. Court date is 9 a.m. April 28 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

April 11: A larceny was reported. Someone removed a handgun from a residence on Sundance Retreat Lane, New Market.

April 11: A larceny was reported. Someone removed jewelry from a residence on Martz Lane, Edinburg.

April 11: A larceny was reported. Someone removed U.S. currency from a business on Quicksburg Road, Quicksburg.

April 11: Jaden William Payne, of Quicksburg, has been charged with grand larceny. Court date is 9 a.m. May 18 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

April 12: Keirsten Elizabeth Nicholson-Vincent, of Berryville, has been charged with larceny. Court date is 9 a.m. May 19 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

April 12: A larceny was reported. Someone removed U.S. currency from a residence on Fairway Drive, Basye.

April 12: A breaking and entering was reported. Someone entered a residence causing damage and removed prescription medication on Back Road, Toms Brook.

April 13: A 17 year old has been charged with sexual assault. Court date is 2 p.m. April 27 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

April 14: Joseph Allen Foutz, of Toms Brook, has been charged with domestic assault and battery. Court date is 9 a.m. May 18 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

April 14: Dusty Owen Hottinger, of Fulks Run, has been charged with preventing the summoning of law enforcement, domestic assault and battery and strangulation. Court date is 9 a.m. April 20 in Shenandoah Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

April 15: A larceny was reported. Someone removed a cellular phone from a residence on Senedo Road, Edinburg.

April 16: Michael Ray Santmyers Jr., of Edinburg, has been charged with possession of marijuana. Court date is 11 a.m. May 26 in Shenandoah County General District Court.
