Police blotter: Shenandoah County

The Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:

May 8: Michael Paul Smith, of Wardensville, West Virginia, was arrested on two counts of larceny. Court date is 9 a.m. May 26 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

May 8: A destruction of property was reported. Someone damaged five signs on Swartz/Jadwyn roads.

May 8: Filip Bajic, of Saugus, Massachusetts, was charged with destruction of property. Court date is 11 a.m. June 9 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

May 5: Robert Douglas Tate, of Strasburg, was charged with illegal dumping. Court date is 9 a.m. June 9 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

May 9: A larceny was reported. Someone removed firewood from a residence on Rinker Gate, Fort Valley.

May 10: Alexandra Frances Boudreau, of Woodstock, was arrested on Circuit Court indictments for two counts of possession of a controlled substance and child endangerment. Court date is pending in Shenandoah County Circuit Court.

May 10: David Knott, of Edinburg, was arrested on Circuit Court indictments for malicious wounding, destruction of property and hit and run. Court date is pending in Shenandoah County Circuit Court.

May 10: A larceny was reported. Someone removed copper from a business on New Market Deport Road, New Market.

May 11: Jessica Pressley, of Strasburg, was arrested on two counts of distributing a controlled substance and distribution of marijuana. Court date is pending in Shenandoah Circuit Court.

May 11: Jamie Marie Shifflett, of Strasburg, was arrested on charges of three counts of animal cruelty. Court date is 11 a.m. June 23 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

May 11: Craig Allen Shifflett, of Strasburg, was arrested on charges of three counts of animal cruelty. Court date is 11 a.m. June 23 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

May 11: A larceny was reported. Someone removed gasoline from a vehicle on Old Valley Pike, Woodstock.

May 11: Matthew Thomas Sullivan, of Strasburg, was arrested on charges of manufacturing a Schedule I/II drug. Court date is 9 a.m. June 9 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

May 11: A 15 year old was arrested on charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and trespassing. Court date is pending in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

May 11: A 16 year old was arrested on a charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Court date is pending in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

May 11: A 14 year old was arrested on charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and trespassing. Court date is pending in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

May 12: A 14 year old was charged with two counts of assault and battery. Court date is 3 p.m. June 1 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

May 12: Andrew Bradley Shoemaker, of Woodstock, was arrested on charges of indecent liberties with a child, carnal knowledge and using electronic means to solicit a child. Court date is 9 a.m. May 25 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

May 13: Amanda Susan Yowell, of Edinburg, was charged with two counts of illegal dumping. Court date is 11 a.m. May 26 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

May 13: A destruction of property was reported. Someone damaged tires on a vehicle and tractor on Lutz Hollow Road, Mount Jackson.
