The Blue Ridge Singers will present their spring concert “To Music” at 7:30 pm. April 20 at the Front Royal Presbyterian Church and at 4 p.m. April 22 at First Baptist Church in Winchester. The Front Royal Oratorio Society will present two performances of their spring concert “Heaven and Earth” featuring the ‘Requiem’ by John Rutter and a variety of sacred hymns. The Arts Chorale of Winchester will present two performances commemorating the end of two major wars, WWI (100 years) and the Korean War (65 years) at 8 p.m. April 21 and 3 p.m. April 22 at Grace Lutheran Church in Winchester. The concert will include choral settings by Samuel Barber and Morten Lauridsen and the well known classic work “Requiem” by Gabriel Faure. Sky Meadows State Park in Delaplane will celebrate Earth Day 10 a.m.-1 p.m. April 22. St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Woodstock will celebrate its 270th Anniversary 11 a.m.-3 p.m. April 22. The Shenandoah County 4-H Council in cooperation with Shenandoah County Ruritan Clubs will sponsor the 36th annual 4-H Bike-A-Thon 2-4 p.m. April 29 at the Peter Muhlenberg Middle School in Woodstock. The event is open to 4-H and non-4-H riders over the age of 5; bike helmets required.  Pledges can be secured before or after the Bike-a-Thon and participants can register at the event.  Half of the money will be used for 4-H event scholarships. The Shenandoah Area Agency on Aging will present a six-week Live Well Workshop 9:30 a.m.-12 p.m. Mondays April 30 through June 11 at the Winchester Parks and Recreation building.
