The Shenandoah County 4-H Council in cooperation with Shenandoah County Ruritan Clubs will sponsor the 36th annual 4-H Bike-A-Thon 2-4 p.m. April 29 at the Peter Muhlenberg Middle School in Woodstock. The event is open to 4-H and non-4-H riders over the age of 5; bike helmets required. Pledges can be secured before or after the Bike-a-Thon and participants can register at the event. The Shenandoah Area Agency on Aging will present a six-week Live Well Workshop 9:30 a.m.-12 p.m. Mondays April 30 through June 11 at the Winchester Parks and Recreation building. The workshop is for individuals who desire to live well by managing such conditions as anxiety, diabetes, chronic pain and high blood pressure through improving communication, physical activity, goal setting and problem solving.
