Pet of the Week: Inquisitive feline seeks forever home

Stevie Ashley Miller/Daily

EDINBURG – Stevie, an inquisitive 6- or 7-year-old orange and white domestic short hair cat, is looking for his forever home.

Stevie came to the Shenandoah County Animal Shelter when his original owners surrendered him due to family dynamics. His larger than life personality made it difficult for him to coexist with other animals and young children.

Katrina Keywood, animal caretaker, explained that while Stevie does have a big personality he really is a “snuggle bug and is very laid back.” Stevie is good with older children, Keywood said, and is looking for a place to curl up and call home.

Keywood said Stevie could be either an indoor or outdoor cat. Stevie is in good health, has been neutered and is up-to-date on all vaccines. He is available for a $15 adoption fee.
