Child Safety Day event

Officers from the Winchester Police Department and members of Volunteers in Policing will be fingerprinting children for ID cards and performing child seat safety checks and demonstrating proper installation in vehicles from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 24, at the Winchester Ford Mazda Subaru, 1927 Valley Ave., Winchester.

The Child Safety Day is part of a customer appreciation event, which also will include pony rides, moon bounce, face painting, dancing and refreshments.
