The following incidents, arrests were reported on the Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office Web site:

Assault and battery: On April 28, sheriff's deputies arrested Joshua Steven Pitcock, 95 Hillview Drive, Maurertown, on a charge of assault and battery on a family member. Court date is set for 9 a.m. May 15 in Shenandoah County J&DR Court.

Larceny: On April 28, sheriff's deputies arrested Bert Henry Hatfield, 236 Church St., Front Royal, on a charge of advance pay/larceny of non-performance of construction. Court date is set for 9 a.m. May 16 in Shenandoah County GD Court.

Contribute to a minor: On April 28, sheriff's deputies arrested Penny Dawn Smith, 168 W. Lee St., New Market, on a charge of contributing to a minor. The court date is set for 1:30 p.m. June 5 6/5/08 in Shenandoah County J&DR Court.

Bomb threat: On April 21, sheriff's deputies charged three juveniles with making a bomb threat. This incident occurred on March 26. The court date is set for 11 a.m. May 8 in Shenandoah County J&DR Court.

Larceny: On May 1, a larceny was reported to the Sheriff's Office. According to the victim, unknown person(s) removed a Sony radio from a vehicle while it was parked on Little Sorrel Drive, Strasburg. The investigation continues.

Assault and battery on a family member, unauthorized use, underage possession of alcohol: On April 30, sheriff's deputies arrested Jesse Shane Bonilla, 2034 Jerome Road, Mt. Jackson, on charges of assault and battery on a household member, unauthorized use, and underage possession of alcohol. The court date is set for May 22 in Shenandoah County J&DR Court.

Contributing to a minor: On May 1, sheriff's deputies arrested Michelle Harlow, 2034 Jerome Road, Mt. Jackson, for contributing to a minor. The court date is set for 9 a.m. May 23 in Shenandoah County GD Court.

Assault and battery: On May 2, sheriff's deputies arrested Shawn Wayne Crowl, 149 Valley Vista Drive, Apt. 307, Woodstock, on a charge of assault and battery. The court date is set for 9 a.m. May 16 in Shenandoah County GD Court. This incident occurred on April 19.

Assault and battery on a family member: On May 1, sheriff's deputies arrested Diana Seal Vann, 536 Kern Springs Road, Woodstock, on a charge of assault and battery on a family member. The court date is set for 11 a.m. May 16 in Shenandoah County J&DR Court.

Possession of marijuana: On May 1, sheriff's deputies charged Lieben Nasca, 259 Lakeview Drive, Apt. 8, Woodstock, with possession of marijuana. The court date is set for 11 a.m. May 16 in Shenandoah County GD Court.

Driving under the influence: On May 2, sheriff's deputies arrested Valdemar Mendoza Fuerte, 6264 Railroad St., Mt. Jackson, on a charge of DUI. The court date is set for 9 a.m. May 16 in Shenandoah County GD Court.

Breaking and entering: On May 4, a breaking and entering was reported to the Sheriff's Office. According to the victim, unknown person(s) entered a residence on Fairview Road, Woodstock. The investigation continues.


Breaking and entering: On May 2, a breaking and entering was reported to the Sheriff's Office. According to the complainant, unknown person(s) broke into a business on Cottontown Road, Strasburg, and removed several tools. The investigation continues.

Drunk in public: On May 4, sheriff's deputies arrested Roberto C. Guevara Reimundo, 841 Thomas Ct., Apt. 51, Winchester, on a charge of appearing drunk in public. The court date is set for 9 a.m. June 20 in Shenandoah County GD Court.

Drunk in public, assault and battery on a family member, underage possession of alcohol: Eliza Guevara, 841 Thomas Road, Apt. 51, Winchester, was arrested on a charge of assault and battery on a family member, underage possession of alcohol, and appearing drunk in public. The court date is set for 9 a.m. June 5 in Shenandoah County J&DR Court and 6/20/08 at 9:00 AM in Shenandoah County GD Court.

Driving under the influence: On May 3, sheriff's deputies arrested Terry Lynn Bowers, 405 E. Queen St., Strasburg, on a charge of driving under the influence. The court date is set for 9 a.m. May 16 in Shenandoah County GD Court.

Breaking & entering: On May 2, a breaking and entering was reported to the Sheriff's Office. According to the victim, unknown person(s) entered a trailer on Cottontown Road, Strasburg, and removed several pieces of racing equipment. The investigation continues.
