Winchester police seek information on malicious wounding

(Information from a press release) Winchester police responded to a call at 2:20 a.m. May 4 at Bo's Express, 202 E. Cork Street. A 21-year-old woman had sustained a head injury and had walked into the store for help. She said she was uncertain how she was injured. She was treated and released from the Winchester Medical Center on May 5.

Police found evidence of a crime in the area of Sharp Street and East Lane and have distributed a flyer to area residents seeking information. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to contact Detective Glenn Culp at (540) 545-4725 or Crime Solvers at (540) 722-5200.
