Police log: Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office

The following arrests and incidents have been reported by the Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office:

Larceny: On May 29, it was reported by the victim that unknown person(s) removed two doors from a Jeep Wrangler parked along East Lee Highway in New Market. The investigation continues.

Trespassing, fishing without a license, false identification: On June 1, deputies arrested and charged Moto Hernandez, Bruno, Duran Alonso Acisteo, Nelson Arquimedes Quinteros Martinez and Jonathan Vicente Candelario, all of Winchester, with trespassing and fishing without a license. Macquez Hernandex Nicolas of Winchester was charged with trespassing, fishing without a license, and false identification. All are scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court on June 20.

Assault and battery: On May 31, deputies arrested Clifford Eugene Miller of Strasburg on a charge of assault and battery. The court date is set for 9 a.m. June 20 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

Assault and battery on a family member: On May 31, deputies arrested Jesse Steven Miller of Quicksburg on a charge of assault and battery on a family member. The court date is set for 9 a.m. June 5 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

Auto larceny: On May 30, a vehicle was reported missing. According to the victim, a 1991 blue Jeep Cherokee with VA registration WHOOYOU was taken. The investigation continues.

Larceny: On June 1, it was reported by the victim that money was stolen from a residence on Old Factory Road in Strasburg. The investigation continues.

Larceny: On May 31, it was reported by the victim that unknown person(s) entered a residence on Mountain View Lane in Edinburg and removed a Playstation III and games. The investigation continues.
